Hyundai Sonata 2021 Class Action Lawsuit

Law

There was a Hyundai Sonata lawsuit recently in which a woman was apparently injured after her vehicle was involved in an accident. In the course of that lawsuit, the automaker admitted to fitting into some cars with small chips that turn the car into a “smart car” which can be controlled remotely. The problem is that these chips allow the driver to be distracted and the car can easily be steered away from the right lane and into what is called a “side swiping” position where the car actually hits another vehicle. Of course, this accident occurred on the Highway. The Hyundai Sonata was not equipped with the latest vehicle safety features and this accident is an all too common example of why the driver’s seat belt laws need to be changed so that no one gets hurt or killed by distracted driving.

The most likely scenario would have been if the Hyundai Sonata had been equipped with a “seat belt lockout alarm” but apparently it did not have such a feature. Had it been available, the driver may have been able to use his seat belt to stop the car before it hit another automobile. The driver of the other car suffered a broken leg and a traumatic brain injury as a result of the collision. The driver of the other car was also charged with careless driving since he was not able to use his seat belt to restrain the car. This is a clear case of why the driver’s seat belt laws need to be changed.

The driver of the other car has filed a lawsuit against the car manufacturer, Hyundai, seeking compensation for his medical bills, pain and suffering, and other costs related to the accident. There was also a claim that the car manufacturer did not notify the driver that a certain feature of the Hyundai Sonata meant that the car could be very dangerous if worn. The lawsuit is currently being handled in the local court in the State of Florida. If you are interested in pursuing this case, you should contact a personal injury attorney who is familiar with cases like yours and will be able to tell you whether or not your current car warranty covers the damages caused in this case.

Unfortunately, there are many cases of Hyundai Sonata 2021 Class Action Lawsuit victims being driven by their car manufacturers while they were driving. In one case, the driver of a Hyundai Sonata was traveling down a rural road when he experienced what he believed was a brake failure. He applied the breaks only to find that the car did not stop at all, even when he pressed the accelerator. When he took it in for a repair, the company representative told him that the brakes were faulty and that the dealership would not pay for the repairs.

As a result of this driver’s experience, other drivers began to complain that their cars were defective and that their owners were either not informed about this problem or did not know how to remedy it. The case ultimately went to trial before reaching a conclusion. A judge saw the situation from both sides and decided that the defendant’s policy, which covered the defect, was at fault. This decision was later upheld by the Appeals Court. A subsequent ruling confirmed the dismissal of the case.

As a Hyundai Sonata owner, you should be aware of the possibility that you will be the victim of a driver’s negligence. If you are unfortunate enough to be in such a situation, you should know that there are several ways to receive compensation. One method that you can use is called a personal injury lawyer. These lawyers work on a “no win no fee” basis, so you won’t have to worry about paying anything if you lose the case and the company receives no damages from the accident.
